In the crowded cinema hall at Poljud, Hajduk's Head of Youth Academy Kresimir Gojun held his second lecture. Representatives from 39 clubs, of which 14 with whom Hajduk has signed Agreement on Business and Sports Cooperation and 25 with whom the Club regularly maintains contacts and friendly relations, have joined the educational seminar that slowly becomes a tradition at Poljud. A total of over one hundred coaches and staff working with young footballers gathered to discuss football topics.

They mostly focused on working with youth teams under the age of 15, and apart from the training methodology itself, Gojun also communicated several new ideas that are not yet applied in Croatian football. One of them is the shortening of the pitch to 70 meters for children from the age of 12 to 15. It is a method that has been used for some time in the most developed European football areas, since the children of that age have difficulties with the transition from small to large pitch. Mostly because of the biological characteristics and the fact that in that age, not all footballers physically develop in the same way and at the same time.

Another topic was introduction of new technologies in monitoring the development of players and the use of some kind of futsal training for the youngest, in order to better develop their creativity and technical skills.

After the lecture, demonstration training held by Hajduk's coaches Mate Radic (U-12) and Matija Mijandrusic (U-14) was organized at the training pitch.

The aim of such seminars is to exchange knowledge and experience and educate coaches from smaller football areas in order to provide the best possible conditions for development of young players.
