Basic information about Hajduk's Community
Hajduk's Community is an advisory board founded by the General Assembly of HNK Hajduk Split š.d.d. on the 17th of April 2021 to provide opinions and advice which contribute to the interests of the Club, exchanging experiences and specialist knowledge and especially to improve the quality of the Supervisory Board election process.
This board stays at the disposal of all other bodies of the Club to provide specialist opinions, analyses, comments, and advice. The function of Hajduk's Community is strictly advisory, and opinions, analyses, comments, and advice are not binding to the Club's bodies.
How to become a member of Hajduk's Community
All candidates for the regular member status can apply via the email address hajduckazajednica@hajduk.hr. The application must contain the candidate's first name, last name, age, profession, and job title in the previous four years, the description of any court proceedings, proceedings with state administration bodies, or other bodies in the last four years which would be necessary for evaluating the candidate's ability or integrity. The application must also contain an Eligibility Statement and a Certificate of No Ongoing Criminal Proceedings issued by a court with a corresponding territorial jurisdiction.
Desirable criteria:
- Having experience as a manager or supervisor in companies for at least 4 (four) years
- Having specific knowledge or qualities that Hajduk's Community needs (e.g., legal or financial experts, managers, etc.)
- No final conviction for a sports or sports competition misdemeanor according to the provisions of the Croatian Sports Act and the provisions of other special regulations governing sports and sports competition misdemeanors in the last 3 (three) years
- No final conviction for sports or sports-related misdemeanors in the last 3 (three) years
- A desirable person is a fan of Hajduk who prioritizes the Club's interests over their own business and personal interests, who has built a spotless carrier and has not participated in public affairs of any kind, who is not politically active nor has been involved in politics. Regarding their character, the candidate is suitable for the role of Hajduk's Community, and they can subordinate their ego and vanity to teamwork within the framework of their activities. The candidate is expected to be objective and participate without any prejudice in the work of Hajduk's Community.
A Hajduk's Community candidate has to fulfill the following criteria:
- A member of HNK Hajduk Split in the current year via Our Hajduk (NH) or Hajduk's Friends Societies that have a contract with NH.
- As a company member, an executive, a board of directors member, or a supervisory board member, they have not been sentenced to damages towards the company or its creditors in a final ruling.
- No initiated criminal proceedings against the candidate, no confirmed indictment, no non-final conviction for felonies for which a prison sentence of than 3 (three) years can be given
- No conflict of interest due to their membership in Hajduk's Community
- They are not an official in terms of the Croatian Act on Preventing the Conflict of Interest, and they did not serve as an official in the last year.
- There is no final conviction with a prison sentence of at least 6 (six) months for any intentional felony.
- They are not board of directors members or a supervisory board member in the same sports club.
- They are not a shareholder in a public sports company of the same sport.
- They are not a body member, an authorized representative, or a person authorized to conduct business based on an authorized body's decision or general regulations of a sports club or a sports association competing in the same sport.
- They are not a member of a body of a public sports company of the same sport.
- They cannot directly influence the competition system in the corresponding sport through their actions, and especially they have not been an athlete or a manager in the last year.
- They are not a juridical person conducting activities of organizing sports betting, nor have they been a member of such juridical person in the last three years.
- They are not a member of a body of a juridical person conducting activities of organizing sports betting, nor have they been a member of such body in the last three years.
- They do not act together in terms of Article 34 (3) of the Croatian Sports Act with sports managers and members of juridical persons and members of bodies of juridical persons conducting activities of organizing sports betting.
- There are no restrictions set out by the Croatian Sports Act and the Croatian Companies Act.
