Hajduk failed to win three points in Koprivnica, despite the initiative throughout the game, they played a goalless draw because of the well-organized defensive style of the hosts. Hajduk kept trying to score but lacked the final touch in their attacks.
After the match, head coach Joan Carrillo said:
"They played a good game in the defensive part. We had possession and chances but we could not break through their well-established lines. Unfortunately we have not scored a goal and I'm disappointed that we didn't win three points. The host didn't take too much risk in the match and I want to congratulate them on this draw".
