Coach Siniša Oreščanin's team lost the away round 7 match against Zadar at Stanovi stadium literally in the last seconds. The home team scored the only, winning goal from the penalty kick in the fifth minue of added time thanks to their captain Dragan Župan. Young Hajduk team fully controlled the match from the beginning to the end but they lacked more successful realization of the chanes they got into. Home team's goalkeeper Josip Bender saved his goal and the team so he deserved to be chosen the player of the match.
