Our player Tonio Teklić had a successful appendectomy today in Zadar. Due to appendicitis, doctor Emilio Dijan performed the surgery.
In the morning, Tonio felt abdominal pain while Hajduk's first team was travelling to Mariborsko Pohorje and thanks to our doctor Ante Turić's prompt reaction, h was immediately taken to the hospital in Zadar. Hajduk's Head of Medical Department doctor Ante Bandalović and his colleague doctor Duje Grčić from Zadar organized an urgent medical and surgery immedoately afterwards.
Tonio will continue his rehabilitation in Split and we wish him a quick and successful recovery from the surgery.
