The authors of the winning concept for the future thematic park at Poljud are Ozana Ursic and Vedran Kasap. It was announced today at the press conference of Nas Hajduk Association, where envelopes with authors' names were opened in front of audience.

The deciding jury pointed out that the winning idea is scenic, creating a memory through an installation that will become the trademark of all supporters, football fans and the city of Split, and it is considered viable and within the financial limits. The elements themselves will be made of concrete and covered with brass plates with donor names. The added value of this solution is the modular approach, that is, the possibility of adding the names at any moment. The solution elements are about ten meters wide and about three meters high. The elements can be seated, played, can be used in the space, and they make the word Hajduk from only one point.

The Project Manager Tomislav Mikulic thanked members of the jury, who held five sessions to choose the best solution. He also announced an exhibition of all ideas, which will take place in City Center One Split on Tuesday, December 19th. The next phase will be project performance, and Nas Hajduk Association hopes that in the spring of 2018 everything should be ready for the start of construction.

The president of the jury, Branko Franceschi, expressed satisfaction with the tender, especially as it was a demanding task with a relatively short time frame. He was happy with the quantity and quality of the work.

The winning idea was one of a total of 18. Given the fact that the final solutions required a multidisciplinary approach and the work of experts from different professions, and that the vast majority of the works were of a high potential, it can be said that the tender was successful and the winning idea was the best among great ones. In addition to the winning work, whose authors will share 25000 HRK, the other awarded works are as follows: the fifth place Ivan Kujundzic and Ante Pirca, the fourth place Zrinka Maranic, Helena Miholic, Lovro Cuk and David Kramaric, the third-place Marko Klaric and the second best Architectural Studio Porticus.

The professional jury consisted of representatives of Hajduk and Nas Hajduk association Slaven Marasovic and Ivan Rilov, Ivica Mitrović from the Split Academy of Art, architects Tonči Cerina, Dujam Ivanisevic and Dragan Zuvela, Branko Franceschi, art historian and director of the Split Art Gallery and Masa Milovac, President of Croatian designers society.

The jury argued that the whole process has proceeded without any disagreement, and winning work has been selected as the best one or the one that fulfilled the basic requirements of the competition and offered a modern, functional and innovative solution of the name representation in the theme park, that will reflect the permanent emotional bond of the club and its fans, but it will also become a new trademark and tourist attraction of the City of Split.
