Young Hajduk's defender Stipe Radić substituted Leon Kreković at the end of the first half, after Ardian Ismajli was sent off. He played a very good 50 minutes in his first derby.
"That Ismajli's second caution influenced everything. We tried to balance the game with 10 men in the second half, we wanted to make our fans happy as so many of them came to support us today. They deserved to watch the real Hajduk, unfortunately this result is not something that we expected but we must move on. We did our best but in the end it was not enough" Stipe was disappointed.
"I would like to thank our coach Tudor for having trust in me, the injury now belongs to past. In my opinion, one must play for Hajduk regardless injury and always give their best, that's the only right direction for us. We are now going to Rijeka for a win, we will show our potential and take the three points back home" said Stipe optimistically.
