Goalkeeper Josip Posavec was Hajduk's best player in the Adriatic derby that took place at Rujevica stadium in Rijeka. He had many great interventions but unfortunately couldn't do much about any of the two goals that the home team scored.
"It's hard to say anything after such match. All the worst things that could happen did happen today and Rijeka deserved to win. The most important is to learn our lesson from this game and to immediately show in the next one that such thing won't happen again. There are many more games by the end of the season. I would like to thank our fans for coming to Rijeka, I'm sorry that we coudln't do better today but I believe that things will improve next week" said Posavec.
