The new Hajduk's third jersey has arrived to Split! The winner of a contest for our fans, longtime club member and season ticket holder Alma Saric, went to bring it from the Macron's headquarters in Bologna. On returning to Split, Alma met a number of journalists, and talked about her impressions:
"I'm so happy I was in Italy for the first time, but it will stay in a long and beautiful memory. The jersey is beautiful, and in Bologna I got convinced that my Hajduk carefully selects partners. Apart from great hospitality at Macron's headquarters, I must point out the amazement by their business complex, but what raises the adrenaline is entering the dream room. In a recently decorated room, jerseys of fifty of their partners are exhibited, but only one occupies the central location. At the very entrance, you run into our pride and obviously their pride as well. All the jerseys in that room are beautiful, but one is quite different. And my name is on it. What a feeling".
Aljosa Basic, Marketing and Sales Director of Hajduk, welcomed her in the port of Split and Alma handed him the first package of the third jersey to be sold immediately. Basic congratulated her on the award and handed over a bouquet of flowers, and then she was Tomislav Mikulic gave another bouquet to her, on behalf of Nas Hajduk association. Aljosa Basic commented on this unique project.
"We are happy and proud of today's day. We thank Alma, who symbolically started selling our third jersey. She had a unique opportunity to see how our jersey was created and to get acquainted with all stages of its production. Symbolism is important to us, and this jersey is a rarity in the world. After a mulberry and the operetta, we got a jersey dedicated to our fans and we will try to remain original in the future as well. I invite fans to our Fan Shops at the stadium and at the ferry port, I believe that besides those whose names are on the jersey, the collectors will also find it interesting".
Macron's Sports Marketing Director Francesco Martinelli handed Alma the first official jersey in this collection in Bologna. Martinelli emphasized that he was proud of this cooperation because it is a special project and a special jersey.
"Macron is always open to initiatives that are related to supporters because it is the best way for them to get involved as much as possible in the life of the club. In my opinion, it is very important that the fans are connected with the club. I think this was a great idea, it was also a very demanding project and we are happy to have realized it together with Hajduk successfully".
Macron has already done something similar with English Millwall, but unlike Hajduk, on their jerseys, they were the names of all the players in the club.
After the welcome at the ferry port, the first available third jerseys were also brought to Fan Shop Poljud and the sale has officially started. The new third jersey costs 529.00 HRK, and it can also be purchased via webshop.
