Hajduk's defense played a brilliant match against the Romanian team FCSB, Vučur and Mikulić were practically unmistakable, which added extra security to the whole team. This was the first Europa League game at crowded Poljud for Božo Mikulić.

"Tough match in difficult conditions. I have to congratulate my teammates on a very good game, we were aggressive, solid in the duels, the audience recognized it and supported us the whole game. I hope that in the second-leg match we can achieve a result that would keep us in the competition. We did all well, we just missed a goal" Mikulić said after the end of the first-leg match.

It was not easy to fight with a strong Gnoherea, but Božo successfully did it.

"For the first time in my life, I've been watching videos of a single player that I will play against. I watched his movements, studied his attempts, and I think the whole defense in the end did an excellent job".

We asked him for a comment on the excellent atmosphere throughout the match at Poljud.
