Hajduk's goalkeeper Josip Posavec made a brilliant debut in his first official match in the white jersey. Posavec had two brilliant reactions in the first half o Europa League second qualifying round match against Slavia at Poljud.

"I'm happy that my debut was successful, but the most important thing is that we won, we can only complain that we didn't win with a bigger difference. The situations in which I saved our goal were more created as a matter of luck than some sort of action. We knew that the game will not be easy, but this is a big advantage before the second-leg" he said.

"We knew their weaknesses and qualities, I think we dominated most of the game, and their goalkeeper was probably playing the game of life. This victory gives us confidence before the championship that begins on Sunday, but also for the ext game with Slavia".

He also praised the excellent atmosphere at Poljud.

"Thanks to all the people who came to the match, I had the opportunity to play in front of a lot of people in Italy, but my legs were slightly shaking when I first ran out on the pitch at Poljud. They supported us all over the game, I hope we'll make them happy many times" concluded Posavec.
