The "Naš Hajduk" Society is starting an initiative for sports fans to protect their elective and other rights with their clubs through sporting legislation. An open invitation is issued to all legal, business, sports and other experts to join the debate and contribute to drafting possible new legislation.
The Society is planning a thorough analysis of existing solution provided by sporting legislation in various countries. Special attention will be paid to fan elections in comparable football clubs. The aim is to define a quality legal framework to be the foundation of sports clubs' future functioning. The ultimate goal is to submit various proposals for new legislation to appropriate government bodies.
Anyone interested in joining this project can sign up via email at nas@hajduk.hr, while any activities will be announced on the Society's website and in the media.
The "Naš Hajduk" project was founded two years ago when Hajduk fans, acting on behalf of the City of Split, voted for the seven current members of the Hajduk Board of Supervisors. The ensuing negotiations lasted several months, which situation clearly must be amended in the future. The Society is eager to include the fans in sporting legislation, specifically through defining the role of sports fans and fan elections.
