Hajduk's young forward Ivan Delić was the best player of the first half of the match with Shakhtar. The first goal was scored from a penalty kick by Mijo Caktaš after a foul on Delić, then he scored on Jairo's assist, to finally tackle Shakhtar's player at the center, from where he passed to Caktaš, who then passed an assist to Jairo, who scored for 3:1.
"I'm happy because one doesn't score to such a good team every day, I'm really satisfied that I scored and that there was a foul for penalty on me, but I don't want to stress this too much. I think this is just one additional motive for all of us, the whole team played the first and the second half very well, and this kind of win is just an additional motivation for us to continue working the way we did so far" Delić told us after the game and concluded:
"You don't live of one game, a player must prove every day, every training, each game. That's the only right way for all of us".
