Hajduk's U-17 won the trophy of the Croatian Cup winner in the final match played against Osijek in Ivankovo. After 0:0 in the regular part of the game they celebrated 5:3 thanks to better penalty shoot-outs. They deserved celebration in this game, they were a much better team and given the opportunities, they could have resolved the winner's question earlier.

For their coach Igor Tolić this trophy comes as a reward for a very good season. His team has long been great in the championship, they mostly held the first place but they lost some points in the end of the season to finally end in the second place.

"It is a real satisfaction to work with these players and all the people in the club every day. If by chance this game ended differently, it would not change anything because the guys did their best, they played a great match and they did everything that we agreed. I congratulate the entire team, the staff and the opponent on a good and fair match" Igor Tolić said.

His team dominated throughout the game but they didn't manage to score.

"The style of Hajduk, whose indications are already visible, is that we want to dominate each game in each category. Those who want to see good things will surely see them. Sometimes we will score, sometimes we will not succeed, but the possession of the ball, the creation of the chances, counter-pressure, defense and formation is what describes this Hajduk and modern football" concluded the coach.
