The Hajduk footballers were defeated in the fourth preparatory match with the result 3:0 by the Slovenian first league team Celje in the match played in Celje.

Hajduk had a chance in the first minute of the match, Livaja passed to Mlakar who shot from a good position, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Rozman. Hajduk's next chance was in the 18th minute when Livaja shot from a free kick from 20 meters, it was a very good shot that went a little past the goal.

The home team had several attempts from the counterattack in the first half, but they failed to seriously threaten the Hajduk's goal. However, at the beginning of the second half, Celje took the lead with a great goal by Žan Medved from 20 meters. The Slovenian striker hit in the very top corner, indefensible for the goalkeeper. In the 59th minute, Kerin had a chance to increase the lead, but his shot from close range was saved by Posavec with an excellent intervention.

In the 73rd minute, a new great move by Žan Medved, the Celje striker received the ball at a little more than twenty meters and again in a similar way hit the top corner for 2: 0.
