Francesco Tahiraj passed the medical examinations this morning in Split, after which he signed a contract with Hajduk until the summer of 2022 and is already on his way to Turkey, where he should join his teammates tomorrow evening.
"I am happy that the transfer was finally realized, from the beginning I had only one wish - to come to Hajduk. I look forward to the first training session, I want to justify the confidence I was given and show why I was chosen" said the new forward Tahiraj immediately after signing.
He was born on September 21, 1996 in Turin, he usually plays as a winger or as an offensive midfielder. He passed Juventus Youth Academy and played for Carpi (on loan from Juventus) and for Torino. From Italy he went to Slovenia where he was a member of Zavrč and Aluminium. This season in the Slovenian First League he played 18 matches, scoring nine goals and adding four assists for Aluminum from Kidričevo.
Francesco played for U-17 and U-19 national teams of Albania, and has an Italian citizenship as well.
In Hajduk he will wear a jersey number 47 at his own wish.
Welcome Francesco and good luck in the white jersey!
