After the most convincing game that Hajduk played in the season 2019/2020 and in which the away team Gorica conceded six goals, while Hajduk saved their net intact, head coach Igor Tudor held a post-match press conference and commented the game:

"Congratulations to my players, they are the most important. Everyone needs such a self-confidence boost, it will for sure be necessary for the future. We are now moving on to preparation of the next game. The opponents already know how we play and we now must adapt to it and see what we can still improve and what we can't, so that we can move forward with our plans. I must say that I'm really satisfied with my players, despite all the stories that we listened to and read in the media and which caused a certain pressure, it was not visible on the field. I understand that it's not easy after you lose a game as we did last weekend, they must learn how to cope with such pressure. I don't think that the next three games are going to be decisive ones, there are 15 more games in front of us by the end of the season".
