Hajduk beat dinamo Bucuresti 2:0 in the first international friendly in Belek. Mijo Caktaš scored for a lead in the fourth minute, hitting the opposite upper angle, while Adam Gyurcso set the final result by scoring on Ardian Ismajli's assist in the 77th minute.
Hajduk didn't concede a goal and the defense played a very good match, which was actually today's priority of head coach Siniša Oreščanin and his assistants in this initial part of mid-season preparations.
"We are satisfied with this match, we ran well, I rotated 22 players and each one played one half, we successfully realized the ideas that we had for this match. Our focus was on defensive part of the game and what we showed is what we do on training. It was a good test and now we will continue working and improving our game" said head coach Oreščanin after the match.
He will now have five training days and their next match will take place on Saturday, when their opponent will be Swiss team Grasshopers.
"There were many good things that the team showed both in the first and second half but I also saw some bad things that we will try to correct on training but I repeat, it was more than good for this preparation phase. In the end I can be truly satisfied" concluded Oreščanin.
