Hajduk was defeated 2:1 in Osijek, where they played HT First Division match against NK Osijek at Gradski vrt stadium. Captain Zoran Nizic scored for a lead of Hajduk, while Haris Hajradinovic and Eros Grezda scored for the hosts.
After the match, coach Joan Carrillo spoke to the media:
"It was a tough match where Osijek had a couple of chances in the first half but we still had control over the match. In the second half we scored, and then made a mistake right away. We should not concede a goal in the last minute. We did not finish our actions well but that is football, we can learn from this match and not repeat such mistakes in the next one".
