HNK Hajduk is happy to announce that Gennaro Gattuso will be our first team's manager for the upcoming season! He signed a contract until the summer of 2026, and we will formally introduce him at Poljud next week when he arrives in Split, and starts the first team's preparations.

Throughout his playing career, he nearly achieved every victory possible. In addition to winning the World Cup with Italy in 2006, Milan also won the Champions League in 2003 and 2007. They also won two Serie A titles, the UEFA Super Cup, the Italian Super Cup, and the World Club Championship.
He became a legendary player because of his play style, combativeness, unwaveringness, and obvious winning mindset.

Born in the Italian village of Corigliano Calabro on January 9, 1978, Gennaro Ivan Gattuso started playing football in Perugia, where he made his senior debut. His football career began in 1999 when he traveled to Milan after joining the Scottish Rangers and returning to Italy to play for Salernitana. His 13-year tenure at San Siro, where he played 468 games, elevated him to the rank of legend. In 2013, he came to an end of his playing career with the Swiss Sion, where he took over as first team manager and quickly transitioned to coaching.

Benvenuto Mister Gattuso!
