Hajduk's first team players Nikola Vlasic and Josip Juranovic got invited by the head coach Ante Cacic to the Croatia A national team on the occasion of China Cup that will take place from January 10 to January 15 in Nanning. Fran Tudor got pre-invitation for the tournament.
On January 07, 2017, the national team will gather in Zagreb from where they go to China. Their first match will take place on January 11, 2017 against Chile. In the other semi-finals match, the hosts China are playing against Iceland. The defeated teams will play a third-place match on January 14, 2017 while thee winners will play the finals on January 15, 2017.
