The first team has started their preparations for the next championship match. In the MAXtv First League, round 22, Hajduk will host NK Istra 1961 this Friday, February 24, 2017 az Poljud, kick - off 18:00.  It will be the first home match in the spring part of the season. The next opponents of Hajduk, coach Mario Tot's team Istra 1961,currently has 22 points and holds sixth position on the League table.

Jefferson and Toma Basic are back with the team after one match suspension for red and third accumulated yellow cards, for which they couldn't play againsr RNK Split. The new defensive player Georgi Terziev is now registered and can play for Hajduk.

Coach Joan Carillo can count on all of his players apart from Zvonimir Kozulj, who is still under special training programme, but he should also join the team soon and start full intensity training and regular training process with the rest of the team.
