In the Second qualifying round of the Europa League, Hajduk will play against the winner of the QR1 tie Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) and Sutjeska (Montenegro). The first leg match will be played on July 13, 2017 at home, and the second leg match will be played seven days later. Levski and Sutjeska are playing their QR1 matches on June 29, 2017 and July 07, 2017.

"We can't influence the draw and opponents, our goal is to qualify to the Europa League group stage no matter who is our opponent. We will fully prepare toplay the two matches in the best possible way. It is certain that in the first leg match in front of the crowded stands we will try to win, if possible without conceding a goal, in order to travel to the second leg match with the best possible result" said Zoran Nizic, captain of Hajduk, after the draw in Nyon.

"We are playing the first leg at home in front of our supporters, I expect a crowded stadium and that we will play a great match so as to ensure a good result before the second leg. It is only important that we don't concede a goal in the first match. It is up to us to prove on the field that we are a better team, regardless who our opponent is" said Ante Erceg, recently elected the best Hajduk player in the past season by the Club's members.
