Regardless of the intentions or motives of the person who has entered the field, it is uncontested that this is a big security failure. The entry of a person in the field with the object which can seriously injure anyone on the field is unacceptable, as well as the slow reaction that followed it. Security companies and the police are in charge of the safety at the stadium. Of course we have freedom to choose which company to hire so we do not try to avoid our responsibility, while, we are sure, the police will also reconsider their action.

The situation in the Croatian football is poisoned, frustrating and the consequences are devastating, but we as the match organizer cannot allow such failure to repeat. All who play at Poljud stadium, as well as all our guests and fans, must feel safe. We are against and do not support any form of violence or illegal behavior. We'll do everything in our power to ensure there is no violence at our stadium. We hope that healing of Croatian football will assist us in it.
