In 2016, Hajduk played a total of 46 official matches and achieved 23 wins, 9 draws, and 14 defeats. The first team has scored 72 goals (1.56 per game) and conceded 47 (1.02 per game).

At home, in 22 matches, Hajduk achieved 15 wins, one draw, and six defeates with a goal difference of 41:22, while on their 24 away matches, Hajduk collected an equal number of wins, draws and defeats, i.e. eight of each, with goal difference 31:25.

As in previous few seasons, Hajduk has played most official matches in August - eight. They were not defeated in July, September and October, when they had a total of 10 wins and four draws. In July and August, Hajduk celebrated the most wins - four.

A total of 27 players enrolled in scorers, the most effective among them were Márkó Futács and Tino Susic with 10 goals scored, then Fran Tudor with nine, Franck Ohandza with 8 etc.

They played 16 friendly matches during 2016 with a total of 10 wins, two draws and four defeats, they scored 41 goals and conceded only 13.

In the last year, 41 players played for Hajduk, and the 21-year-olds Josip Juranovic and Fran Tudor collected the most caps, as they have played 37 matches. They are followed by Jefferson with 35 appearances and Lovre Kalinic, who in 2016 played 31 official matches for Hajduk. Juranovic played the most - in 37 matches he played as many as 3,270 minutes, followed by Jefferson with 3,017 minutes played.

Four coaches led the team this year, Marijan Pusnik 26 times, Damir Buric 17, the current coach Joan Carrillo twice and Marko Lozo once.

At the end of the year, we have to particularly thank our loyal fans who once again did Hajduk the most watched club in Croatia by far. Overall, 241 633 spectators watched Hajduk in 22 matches at the Poljud stadium, or an average of 10 983 per game!

Membership has become a matter of identity of each fan, so Hajduk ended up the year 2016 with a staggering 43 000 members!
