Hajduk's central defender Gustavo Carbonieri returned at Poljud and started rehab after two and a half weeks, following a successful surgery caused by dislocation and ventricular rupture of the left ankle. His injury was treated by Hajduk's doctor Ante Bandalovic, who performed the surgery at the Clinical Hospital Centre Split.

"I'm glad I'm here again, the surgery was successful, now it's time for rehabilitation and recovery. I am optimistic and will do everything to join my friends on the pitch as soon as possible, and by then I will be their greatest support as they were to me so far" said Carbonieri, in a good mood and with a smile on his face.

Hajduk's medical department will take care of Gustavo during the process of rehabilitation, every activity that is prescribed at this stage of recovery will be performed on a daily basis.
