Hajduk's defender Zoran Nizic was voted the best player in the MAXtv First League, round 22 by the readers of prvahnl.hr. 

Nizic got 93% of the votes (out of 2260 votes), while the other two players, Ivan Pesic (RNK Split) and Mario Gavranovic (HNK Rijeka) together got less than 7%.

Nizic played a great game against Slaven Belupo and scored for 2:0. It was his second goal for Hajduk in the official matches and he scored his first one this season too, against FC Koper in the UEFA EL qualifications. 

In the earlier polls, some other players of Hajduk were voted best, Tino Susic twice, Elvir Maloku, Tomislav Kis, Franck Ohandza, Nikola Vlasic, Fran Tudor, Marko Bencun and Mijo Caktas.
