Only three days after the Championship victory over Zagreb (0:2), Hajduk once again defeated the same team at Kranjceviceva stadium in Zagreb, this time in the Cup quarter - finals match.

Hajduk won 1:2 and qualified to Cup semi - finals!

Zagreb took a lead in the 18th minute, when Josip Juranovic scored an own goal. In an attempt to clear the ball, he accidentally sent it into Dante Stipica's goal for 1:0 lead of Zagreb.

Nevertheless, Hajduk managed to turn the match around already in the first half, when Jefferson scored the header equaliser in the 24th minute, after a corner kick for Hajduk taken by Nikola Vlasic.

In the 32nd minute, Josip Juranovic assists to Marko Bencun who scores for Hajduk 1:2 lead.

In the 77th minute, Matic (Zagreb) was sent off for second caution but the result stayed the same as in the first half.

After defeating Zagreb in a single - legged quarter - finals, Hajduk reached the Cup semi - finals!
