Today, Hajduk has concluded their first week of winter training camp in Turkish Belek. The conditions are perfect, players lack nothing and all prerequisites for successful training camp are met here. Among 28 players that coach Carillo took to Belek, there are five young players that are waiting for their official debut for Hajduk - Karlo Letica (1997), Ivan Prtajin (1996), Deni Jurićc(1997), Luka Pasaricek (1998) and Tonio Teklic (1999).
For goalkeeper Karlo Letica, these are the third preparations with Hajduk and he is delighted with conditions in Belek and the atmosphere in the team:
"It feels great to be here, our new goalkeeper coach Tihomir Bulat prepares innovative and attractive training sessions, but they are also very demanding. Nevertheless, it is the only way to develop. All in all, I'm really pleased with everything. I'm still waiting for my debut but I don't mind it. I'm young, I have a lot of time for work and progress. I take one step at a time, we should be persistent and patient and success will come out of it".
Striker Ivan Prtajin is also showing his sincere hapiness for having joined Hajduk ahead of the mid-season preparation.
"I'm very pleased to be here, I want to work as serious as possible so as to get the coach's confidence. We have great conditions here, the team is really united and this can be seen at every step, which is one of the prerequisites for success. I hope that at the following matches, we will successfully present the things that we practice here."
Deni Juric joined Hajduk four months ago and he is currently the top scorer of Hajduk II - the Third League South leaders.
"I'm really impressed with everything. This is a reward for all the effort that I put in training and games in the last four months since I came to Hajduk. I would like to get a chance in some of the remaining matches here in Belek so that I can prove myself to coach. We have great training sessions, almost every exercise we do is with a ball. I like the kind of football the coach prefers and we, young players, are enjoying each moment that we spend here".
Luka Pasaricek was also rewarded for working well in the previous period.
"I'm very happy for getting the opportunity to join the first team on their winter training camp. This is a reward for working hard and a very good motivation for the remaining part of the season. More experienced players are advising us younger ones and it means a lot to me. I think the training is very innovative and I enjoy working with ball, it fits my stile of football. I think I could soon fit coach's ideas of football and I would like to get a chance here in Belek, I'm not putting any pressure on myself because of that, I only have to work hard and to prove myself to the coach and his assistants".
Under - 19 player Tonio Teklic was also invited to Turkey, this young Croatia national team player is only 17 years old.
"It feels great to join the first team on their preparations and I especially enjoy training with coach Carillo as he helps us a lot on each training and he talks regularly with the young players. From my perspective, each of these training sessions is a special one and I particularly enjoy here in Belek. I feel that the team mates and the coaches are supporting me all the time".
