HNK Hajduk expresses regret that after Hajduk vs. Dinamo derby, which is supposed to be a celebration of Croatian football, we don't talk about football, players and the atmosphere at the stadium. Again, referee Bruno Marić took the main stage, after destroying all the beauty of the game with his dishonest decisions.
BrunoMarić consciously and with premeditation conducted this derby with clear intention to cause damage for Hajduk, and took this game off the boundaries of regularity.
We don't see any other explanation after referee Marić in the halftime, in front of witnesses and other referees, including Hajduk's chairman Marin Brbić and sports manager Goran Vučević, confessed that he saw Benković' hand play in the goal area in minute 45. In spite of that fact, he didn't call for a penalty kick in Hajduk's favour.
Here we are talking about premeditated charade on Hajduk's expense. This performance was so badly and visibly directed, that everyone at the stadium, and in front of TVs were aware of this impudent robbery.
In this case there is not a single trace of morality in neither Bruno Marić, nor referees commissioner Ivan Peraić who nominated Marić for this game. Instead, he was supposed to offer his resignation.
This is not the first time Bruno Marić serves to those who made relationships in Croatian football unequal and dishonest, with a blessing by the Croatian Football Association.
We had enough of Bruno Marić, who is just a pawn and represents dishonesty of the ruling establishment in the Croatian Football Association. We don't want him ever again as a referee on any future game played by Hajduk. If that happens, none of those games will be within regularity.
Unfortunately, we are aware that HNK Hajduk can't do anything through the Croatian Football Association institutions. It seems impossible to change anything as long as the present team is in power, because every single attempt and request we make hits a wall of ignorance in CFA.
However, HNK Hajduk will never stop pointing to all the steals, dishonesty, and lack of transparency in Croatian football. This is not just a football related issue, but also a social problem in general.
Croatian football league turned into a farce, it's been a long time since it turns into an irregular competition.
As far as certain media interpretation of events during and after derby at Poljud, we must deny some completely untrue information.
With full responsibility we claim that no one from Hajduk made a death threat toward referee Bruno Marić. No one made a phone call to him. Only report was filed by the safety manager of GNK Dinamo Krešimir Antolić.
It is true that after penalty for Dinamo was called, Krešimir Antolić was approached by the president of the HNK Hajduk Supervisory Board president LjuboPavasović Visković. Considering they know each other, and irritated by the referee's decisions, he said:
"How do you plan to get this fool of yours out alive, with all these people around?"
Mr Antolić immediately ran to the police to file a complaint, but with changed content and context of what was really said.
Further, it's not true that Hajduk's sports manager Goran Vučević pulled referee Marić' shirt when he was exiting the pitch. Also, it's complete lie and fabrication that assistant coach Joško Španjić had either verbally or physically conflict Dinamo's player Soudani.
