Hajduk arrived at about 14:00 in Zabrze, a place where a friendly match against host Gornik will be played tomorrow at 19:48. After landing at the airport in Krakow, they continued their trip to Zabrze, which is located some 80 kilometers from Krakow. The temperature is around zero, and it is expected that it will remain so during tomorrow's match.
Hajduk's first team had a pre-match training at Zabrze Arena this evening and hospitable sports friends from Gornik Zabrze are all the time at disposal to our delegation that has arrived in Poland. Our club management led by the President of the Board Ivan Kos had a meeting today with the club management of Gornik and mayor of Zabrze Małgorzata Mańka-Szulik with whom they visited the Arena and exchanged knowledge and experience.
Training session at the Stadium with a capacity of 24,563 spectators lasted 45 minutes, coach Zeljko Kopic took 17 players for tomorrow's match in which Gornik celebrates their 70th birthday. A large number of Hajduk fans are expected to come to Poland from Croatia, but also from other European countries.
Namely, supporters group of Gornik Zabrze, the 14-time Polish League champion, took the name Torcida after Hajduk's supporters group. Members of Torcida Górnik are frequent guests at Poljud stadium in Split and have been in friendly terms with Torcida Split for many years, so without doubt the atmosphere at the stadium will be fantastic tomorrow.
