Hajduk's sport director Goran Vučević is in Portugal, where he visited Benfica, a famous club which maintains strong friendship with Hajduk.

Vučević met Benfica's president Luis Filipe Vieira, who is 12 years on this position, and they discussed future co-operation of two clubs. He also met Benfica's assistant coach Raul Jose, and chief scout Rodolfo Vaz. 

Vučević invited Benfica's liders to Split, maybe even to play a friendly match with Hajduk on Poljud.

At this moment there is an option Poljud might host Benfica B in September this year, a second team of the Lisbon giant which competes in Portugal's second league. The first team is sold-out for all friendlies at least a year ahead. More details to come.
