Hajduk's Vice President Lukša Jakobušić met Danny Wilson, Manchester City's Operations Director. He was a guest at Etihad Campus built in 2015. Manchester City invested 200 million pounds in this magnificent camp that among other facilities also has 16.5 football fields, of which one indoor, three with artificial grass, 12 with natural grass and one half only for goalkeeping training.

One of the goal in the four-ya-plan of the President Marin Brbić is construction of a modern football camp with a mini stadium, fields and other facilities. Because of that, two weeks ago, President Brbić and Vice President Jakobušić visited a newly built complex of the Slovenian Football Association.

As a continuation of the preparations for the construction of a Hajduk Camp, Jakobušić spent two days in Manchester with his colleague Wilson, the director of all operations within Manchester City (sales, marketing, investments, maintenance, events, concerts, customer support, supporters, security...) to discuss the construction, functionality and operability of the Etihad Campus.

Apart from the main topic, the football camp, it was also agreed that a delegation of Hajduk (staff in charge of match organization, maintenance, investments, sports) would visit Manchester City during the current calendar year, during which they would also get a chance to watch their colleagues while organizing one match (Matchday activities). They would also learn about the functioning of City Academy, as well as other supporting infrastructure projects of the current English champions.

The cooperation between Manchester City and Hajduk should continue in several fields after the meeting between Vice President Jakobusic and Director Wilson, and representatives of the Etihad club are also invited to visit us at Poljud.
