In less than 48 hours Hajduk will play the first home game in the new football season 2019/2020. Their opponent is Gzira United from Malta, and the match is taking place this Thursday at Poljud, kick - off 20:00. The two teams already played the first-leg match in Malta and it ended in Hajduk's 2:0 win.

The players are feeling great ahead of the first official game at Poljud, this afternoon they trained on the training pitch and they are now eagerly waiting for the kick-off, the first one on their home venue in the new season. 

Tonio Teklić has also joined training after a successful appendectomy and he joined his teammates today, after a three-week long recovery.

On Wednesday Hajduk will have their official pre-match training before the team from Malta arrives for their pre-match training session. Before the training session, coach Siniša Oreščanin and Ivan Dolček (who scored in Malta) will hold a pre-match press conference at Poljud.
