After four days of harsh, two-practices-a-day rhytm in Slovenia, Coach Damir Burić has awarded his team with an afternoon off.
Free time players used for a rest, walk, or short trip to Maribor, but early in the evening they were back for their regular program. Thursday morning brought practicing in two groups. Damir Burić and his assistants Joško Španjić and Tonći Gabrić lead a tactical training, while the other group did physical practice, under supervision of Mario Tomljanović, Tea Bešlija and Jakov Previšić.
By the end of Slovenian phase of the summer practice, team will continue with two trainings a day, and next testing matches are scheduled for next week in Austria.
On Wednesday, June 24 at the Vorwärts Stadium in Steyr Hajduk plays against Austrian first-division team Ried (at 7pm). On Saturday, June 27, at the same stadium and same time of the day, Hajduk will play against third division team SK Vorwärts Steyr.
Same day, after the match and day before team returns to Split, players, coaches and management will attend the White Night in Steyr.
