Tonio Teklić extended his playing contract with Hajduk until June 30, 2023. This 20-year old midfielder played 10 official games for Hajduk's first team so far, of which two in the current season, under coach Damir Burić.

"I'm really happy and satisfied that I signed this new contract with Hajduk, I'm glad that the Club shows in this way that they are seriously counting on me and I will give my best to pay them back for their trust in the best possible way. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have helped my career so far, each training session and each game is now a new chance to prove myself and I promise that I'll give my best to help the Club achieve our objectives and thus also achieve my personal goals" said Teklić after he signed a new contract.
