The mid-season preparation is slowly coming to an end. The most important period and the first official competitive match is taking place in just four days. Hajduk prepared for it throughout the last one month to be ready for everything that awaits them in the rest of the season.

"We have achieved what we planned during this preparatory period. We worked well and fulfilled all the requirements the coach has set before us. Now it is on us to show it on the pitch in Vinkovci, as well as in the other matches that are expecting us in the next period. I feel great personal and team progress in both physical and mental terms. We have improved pressing game and worked on quick tempo and I am satisfied that we make daily progress in these areas. We are optimistic about the continuation of the season".

"I expect an excellent Hajduk against Cibalia and that we will solve the question of winner as soon as possible, to open the spring part of the season in the right way . There are many more matches to play, we will do our best to win as many points as possible and to be competitive as long as possible, and in the Cup, of course, we want to go tall the way and lift the trophy."

Hajduk's midfielder Basic collected assists in all three friendly matches in Turkey. He has specialized for assists from set pieces.

"I must admit that it worked very well in the friendly matches. Hopefully, I will continue like that in order to contribute to the positive result of the team. Of course, I also hope for the goals as much as I hope for the assists".

Fran Tudor and Steliano Filip will miss match in Vinkovci and they will take adaptation training by the end of this week, while Hysen Memolla, Marko Futacs and Gustavo Carbonieri are in the process of rehabilitation.
