Tonio Teklić scored a great first goal in the official games for Hajduk's first team. This midfielder entered the field as a substitute for Stanko Jurić in the 74th minute and four minutes later, he shot from 25 meters and scored a fantastic goal for a 1:1 draw at Rujevica.
"It feels great, I'm not yet aware that I scored. My impressions are so-so, we didn't manage to win tonight but I scored my first goal. I'm rather happy for t goal but we didn't win. There were many chances on both sides. I hope that I deserved each minute that I play, I want to keep proving myself on training sessions and keep playing. We dominated the field when I entered as a substitute, I felt that there is nothing to lose, we conceded a goal in the first half and I was not afraid or nervous. I dedicate this goal to all those people who helped me in my career" said Tonio.
