Francesco Tahiraj was among the starting 11 in the game with Varaždin and Hajduk beat their opponent 3:0. He played a very good role on the left back and he also provided an assist to Bassel Jradi, who scored the first goal for Hajduk.
"I'm very satisfied with how we played, we gave our best in this game, we played very well and came into many chances to score, in the end we truly deserved to win this match" said Tahiraj, who remained on the field until 74th minute, when Marin Jakoliš entered as his substitution.
The next championship game will take place on Saturday at Poljud and Hajduk will host Lokomotiva.
