Stipe Vučur played a flawless match against the Romanian FCSB, Hajduk's centre-back was timely, determined and accurate in his reactions. The entire Hajduk defense did a good job and Vučur, who recently came from the German Kaiserslautern, agrees with it.

"We played a very good match, we had plenty of opportunities, we were better than the opponents and I'm only sorry that we didn't manage to score. The important thing is that we did't concede a goal, we go to the second-leg match optimistically" he said after the first-leg match at Poljud.

He pointed out that they well prepared for the match agiinst the Romanian team.

"We were not surprised by the fact that they are a good team, physically strong, they often tried with long balls, but we well controlled it and can only praise the entire team for the effort they put in this match".

In the second-leg, he expects that Hajduk will go on to the Play-off.

"We have shown that we are a good team, in the second-leg we should be patient, opportunity will arrive and we must use it".

He especially commented the atmosphere.

"It really was a brilliant atmosphere, I'm sorry we didn't thank our supporters with victory" Vučur concluded.
