Hajduk deservedly won against Rudeš at Poljud and our centre-back Stipe Vučur and his teammate defenders played a good match.

"In the first half we had a lot of chances, we could have scored a goal or two more and decide the match. In the second half, when we scored the second goal and then the third, everything was done. We talked a lot with the new coach and among ourselves this week, we knew that we have to play aggressively, that we should focus on attack and I think we did it well".

He had a few chances, he almost scored a goal from a bicycle kick after a set piece, but goalkeeper Dominik Picak managed to save his goal from this attempt.

"It's a pitty that I didn't score from that chance, it would mean a lot to me. But there will be more chances for that in the future, I also hope for more goals. We are only thinking about the next match. Against Rudeš, we did well, we will now take a short break, analyze everything anf start preparations for the game against Istra, in which we will do everything to win".

This victory was very important from psychological aspect...

"Each victory means a lot, especially in our situation. We now broke the ice and I hope that this is the beginning of a positive series" concluded Vučur.
