Hajduk's midfielder Stanko Jurić scored the goal that took Hajduk to the next Cup round and decided the winner in the Round of 16 match against Šibenik. It happened at the end of the second half of extra time, while the result was 1.1. In those moments everyone was expecting the final referee's whistle, meaning that the winner will be decided only after a penalty shootout, but it didn't happen.

Josip Juranović took a corner kick, the ball reflected outside the box, Andre Fomitschow passed to Ardijan Ismajli, who passed a header on the right, Franko Kovačević reacted well and left the ball for Jurić, whose shot from 13 meters finally went behind Nediljko Labrović, who up to that point was for sure one of the men of the match. 

"I played about 15 matches against Šibenik in my career, I knew that they can be dangerous, we were aware that they will be defending and rely on quick transition to get into a chance, but there are some things that you simply can't predict. It was really not easy, we conceded an early goal, we scored an equalizer only at the end of the match despite many chances and attempts. In the end, the most important thing is that we will play quarter-finals" said Jurić after the match.

He commented the moment in which he broke Šibenik's resistance:

"I knew I must score that, it felt unbelievable to score the decisive goal in that moment. I think we have to improve some things in our game and I believe that we can get far in this competition. We are now only focused on the match against Gorica, we go there to win and I hope that this win will be a big inspiration and bring us self-confidence for the match on Sunday" concluded Stanko.
