Assistant coach JoškoŠpanjićwatched in person the next Hajduk's opponent in the UEFA Europa League play-off. Slovan Liberec played 1-1 against Jablonec in the Czech Republic national championship.

Španjić will make a report to the head coach Damir Burić; here are his first impressions for hajduk.hr.

"Slovan is very serious and dangerous opponent. I would say that these two matches will be the hardest we had in this season so far. It's a strong team which plays aggressive and dynamic football. They play with lots of contacts and fouls, and with strong pressure on opponent's back line," said Španjić.

Czechs play 4-4-2 system. According to Španjić, the strongest card in their team are two defensive midfielders, a 21-year old Isaak Sackey from Gana, and a year younger Soune DanielSoungole from the Ivory Coast. Those two dictate a rhythm of Slovan's game. Forward, they have well-experienced team captain, 32-year old Slovakian MarekBakoš, and young Dutch KevinLuckassen(22).

"By its style Hajduk is much different from Slovan. They don't play with lot of combinations; their main feature is strength and fast transformation on the field. They are tough in defence, and disciplined. When attacking, they do it very vertical toward the goal. Of course, they have their downsides, but we will keep it for ourselves and try to use those flaws. We have all the information we need about Czechs, we will prepare well, and I think we have 50-50 chances to advance," said Španjić.
