The Europa League third qualifying round draw awarded that Hajduk's opposing team will be Ukrainian Olexandryia. The first leg match is scheduled for July 28 in Oleksandryia, kick off 18:30 CET. The second leg match in Split is seven days later, on August 04.

Oleksandryia is based in the city Olexandryia, with a population of 80,000 residents. The city is located in central Ukraine on rivers Inhulec and Berezivka. The club was founded in 1990 as Polihraftehnika Oleksandria from city Oleksandriia, and their games are played at the stadium that has capacity of 7,000 spectators.

Last season they were 6th in the Ukrainian Premier League, which was also the greatest success in the club's history. Sixth position was not supposed to bring them placement in European club competitions, but as the third-placed Dnipro due to financial problems was suspended, Oleksandriya won the right to participate.
