Slaven B. - Hajduk 1:2

Today, Hajduk played the last match of the season, MAXtv First League, round 36 against Slaven Belupo in Koprivnica and won 2:1. The current Hajduk's and League's top scorer Marko Futacs scored for Hajduk's lead in the 8th minute already, on the assist of Toma Basic. In the 24th minute, Futacs passed a ball to Erceg who was fouled within the penalty box and Hajduk was awarded a penalty. Futacs scored from a penalty kick for 2:0, it was his 18th goal this season in the MAXtv First League and also his sixth goal in the last two matches. In the second half, Hajduk had more chances to score and Futacs almost scored a hat trick right at the beginning of the second half but Slaven Belupo's goalkeeper saved his goal. Futacs was supbstituted for Ohandza in the 69th minute and Hajduk supporters awarded his with applouse and ovations. He thus concluded the seasoon with 18 goals and has a great chance toc remain the top scorer of the League. In the 76th minute, Medimorec scored for Slaven Belupo and set the final result of the match.

After the victory in the last match, Hajduk has finished the season as the third placed team in the MAXtv First League and has qualified for the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round.
