Traveling to watch football matches gets completely new meaning in case if Israeli Liraz Zino, a girl with the most amazing Hajduk story. She lives in Tel Aviv, and has a season ticket. Not only that, she really travels to watch any bigger match on Poljud Stadium.

We met her recently, just before match vs. Rijeka, when she had a well deserved wish: to watch the first team practice, and take a tour of the Trophy Hall.

The first who pointed on Liraz and her affection for Hajduk was Split-born basketball player Nikola Vujčić, who is a living legend in Tel Aviv for his plays in Maccabbi. And she was worth of meeting - an Israeli girl who has no connection with Croatia, except being in love with the Split club.

However, story turned into even more incredible.

"I met Nikola in Tel Aviv. He is great athlete, and beautiful person. However, the reason why I learned Croatian is Hajduk. I listen Radio Dalmacija online in Tel Aviv, I read Croatian internet media, and I visit Split whenever I can. This season I travelled all the way to Kiiv, to watch a game against Dnipro. I have also a season ticket for home matches on Poljud. And of course, ticket is for the northern stand, with the best fans," says Liraz.

Where this passion for Hajduk came from? It's a simple answer. The one who is to blame is Giovanni Rosso, former Hajduk's player who is also a big sport star in Israel.

"When Rosso came to Israel, I was curious about him, and about Hajduk. I wanted to learn what kind of club is that, and why Rosso keeps talking about it. A little by little, I dug out an interesting story about Hajduk. I began watching team's matches online, and very fast got hooked on Hajduk and Torcida. When I visited Split for the first time, and came to Poljud, felt the atmosphere, there was no return, the love was sealed. There is no need to mention how proud I am to have a Hajduk's season ticket," says this young girl, who travels 2,000 kilometres to watch her favourite club's matches. Anything is possible with Hajduk.
