Greek Savvas Gentsoglou is a new player of Hajduk. 25 year-old midfielder signed a contract with Hajduk today and tomorrow he will join Marijan Pusnik's team for the first training session. He will wear a shirt number 90.

Gentsoglou was born on September 19, 1990 in Alexandroupoli, and came to Hajduk from the Italian club Bari, where in the last season he collected 13 caps.

Savvas began his football career in Greek AEK, and in early 2012, he signed for Italian Sampdoria. In Italy, he also played for Livorno and Spezia and in 2014 he went to Greek Ergotelis, from where he transferred to Bari last year.

He played for the Greek U-17, U-19 and U-21 national team and collected a total of 34 caps.

Gentsoglou is already a registered player of Hajduk and will have right to play in the Europa League playoffs, where Hajduk's opponent will be Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel).
