In the Croatian Cup quarterfinals, Hajduk was defeated in the City derby against RNK Split at Park mladezi.

In the stoppage time, only a few seconds before the match should have ended, RNK Split scored a surprising equalizer. Namely, in the 90+2' minute, Ugrina scored for 1:1.
Both teams went to extra time and in the first already, Fran Tudor, who entered the game as a substitute in the 81st minute, got his second caution in the 99th minute and was sent off. With 10 players in the field, Hajduk was trying to score the decisive goal that would take them to Cup semi - finals but instead, it was RNK Split that scored for their final 2:1 win over Hajduk (Pesic, 106').
