On Saturday, August 01, Hajduk's first team led by their head coach Igor Tudor will start the pre-season preparation, only seven days after the football season 2019/2020 was completed. The COVID-19 pandemia circumstances have influenced on the next season as well, wherefore the break betweek the two football seasons will be much shorter than usual not only for Hajduk but for all Croatian football clubs.
Hajduk will be training at Poljud for 14 days ahead of the new season, until the first official match that will be played on August 15. In the HT First League round 1, Hajduk will be hosting at Poljud the winner of the Istra 1961 - Orijent 1919 game.
