Hajduk achieved yet another very valuable win, this time against NK Osijek, in the MAXtv First League, round 14, played at Poljud stadium. The home team won 1:0 and the only goal on the match was scored by Marko Futacs in the 16th minute.

Head coach Marijan Pusnik spoke to the media after the match, he congratulated his team on their approach and to Torcida for creating a wonderful atmosphere at Poljud.

"Of course I have to be satisfied with today's outcome, three points are the most important, for me, it is important that my team fought in the first and in the second half. We did not play very attractive, but we tried hard, with an aim to win, close to their players. It's a pity that we had problems from the 75th minute, we missed three or four chances to score, we could have very easily scored more goals".

He continued:

"Victory is what counts, the third place, I want to emphasize the birthday of Torcida, of course, choreography and all, this helps rising players, and we have contributed to the overall celebration by winning, the most important it the sports result. I saw the choreography, it is clear that our fans are the best fans in Croatia".

"We have prepared the analysis of Rijeka team already, I know coach Matjaz well, they play the best football in Croatia, Andrijasevic and Gorgon are playing great, then also Vesovic and others. This game needs to be played at our best for all 90 minutes, not just one half. We need to score one or two goals, we won't go for a goalless draw" concluded Pusnik about the next match agains HNK Rijeka.
